Who is me
If you trace it all the way back, my career in video production started in Windows Movie Maker when I was in the 8th grade, making what I’m sure were highly cinematic masterpieces. Fast forward a bit, and I somehow ended up graduating summa cum laude with a degree in mathematics – which, in reality, is just a degree in problem-solving. That same mindset fuels my approach to video production today. Every shoot, every edit, every story is a puzzle to solve, and I thrive on finding the best way to put the pieces together.
I cut my teeth in independent film, editing short films that made their way to festivals and even took home awards. After over a decade in this industry, I now focus on commercial, social, and sports documentary work, where I get to balance artistry with clear, effective communication. As an avid soccer fan, I’m especially proud of my work with KC Current, the NWSL, and the USMNT, helping to bring the beautiful game to life through film (and photography).
I earned my place behind the camera by grinding through every corner of production. I’ve lit the shots, rigged the gear, and troubleshot the technical chaos that comes with the job. I’m a director who thrives on precision, making sure every frame looks right and every production runs smooth. And thanks to my background in marketing, I don’t just chase stylistic visuals – I consider who’s watching and why they care.
My Philosophy
At the core of everything I do is storytelling. If we’re not telling a story, what are we even doing?
Stories make people care. They create connection. They turn a brand, a team, or a product into something relatable. And the key to great storytelling? Understand what we’re trying to say. Every scene—whether it’s a two-hour documentary or a fifteen-second ad—needs motivation, conflict, and purpose.
So let’s make something that sticks. Let’s tell a story that matters.
